WIP FirstPerson Survival Game

    Here you got a little review of my new and first game WIP

    this will be a giant open world firstperson survival game
    with mouch features like

    -guns
    -cars
    -MECHS
    -crafting
    -mining
    -multiplayer+singleplayer

    but first I will create the giant map...and so on

    Great progress but Im tired of survival games. they are all the same now. Make sure you add a nice unique flavor to your game or it probably wont sell well (if you plan on putting on greenlight)

    the flavour will be the mechs,the guns,the gaint open world
    and multiplayer with singleplayer....i dont see a survival game with both

    and I planned to put it on greenlight...but in few months...when the game has more ´special´

    What I don't get it in today's survival games is that they completly ignore the exploration part which it should've been on the top of the development list. They all have open, large worlds, but they feel empty and generic. No meaningfull resource localization, no hidden goodies, no breathtaking hard to reach vistas, no cave systems etc.

    Iceicetonne, you have the chance to focus on this aspect.

    Did you mean with 'cave systems' caves that the player can create?
    And I do my best to make it like u said :)
    But mixed with my own ideas ;)

    No. I ment ready made caves. I don't even dare to hope for runtime terrain deformation.

    update2!
    here some screenshots,the video is still uploading :)

    whats new?
    -added 12 trees
    -added 3d grass
    -added some futuristic assets
    -now there are 9 natural items to pickup
    -improve chop tree effect
    -added day/night cycle
    -added water
    -now the character can swim
    -improve quality settings and shadow

    whats next(update3)?
    -add a special menu
    -add multiplayer
    -add a simple car
    -improve inventory
    -add some crafting recipies

    and I work on the cave system, but thats not really easy :D
