[WIP] Dawn of Aurora

    Dawn of Aurora is a top-down Sci-Fi RPG, set in a future dystopian world with hints of noir narrative. We're still in development, but it's time to show some progress. We'll be using this thread to post updates, ideas and seek for your feedback.

    Shading tests:



    This is a very early test of an AI system. It has no pathfinding algorithms, but is rather based on sensory input, memory and behavioral dynamics. The goal of this test is to get all NPC's out of the street on a sidewalk. Street has been marked as a more a dangerous area then a sidewalk. NPC's try to minimize danger, remember where they have been and learn how to navigate in a new environment.

    Your lighting and shaders are very nicely done. It looks like it just rained.

    One comment, it is difficult to see the character when he is in the road when the camera is pulled back.

    Really love the style. I think you might need to consider a light overlay on your playable character though. I get that the camera is centred on the player but it might cause some issues.

    Really liking it so far.
