    Welcome to Unity! Here you’ll find everything you need to know to get started and make the most out of our resources.

    Our community is split into different sections for different purposes. You are currently in the forums, they are split into different sections depending on your issue, make sure you chose the right section to post in.

    Answers is for more direct short and sweet Q&A style problems, check out the FAQ learn how to make the most of this system.

    The forums are for more conversational and multi-pronged issues, make sure to post in the correct forum relating to your problem to get the best help. Check the rules here.

    Avoid the “let me google that for you” we have (literally) millions of posts on our community sites answering all sorts of issues. Your question has more than likely been asked before. You can also use the site search at the top or the forum search.

    Documentation
    We have a team dedicated to cataloguing everything the engine can do and how to use it.

    The rules & stickies.
    We run a tight ship, stick to the rules and everyone has a good time. Beware of sticky posts that contain additional rules for a particular forum.

    There are many topics within Unity development, make sure your issue fits in so you can get answered quicker. Each forum has a description to help you find a home for your post.

    Posting about a bug?
    Include the bug number in your post. Unity staff regularly check the community for issues having a bug to look at gives us additional information that can help us help you!
