Unnamed Fiasco

    Hello fellow devs! Unnamed Fiasco is a 2D local multiplayer game I've been working on for the last two or three months with some friends.

    The core ideia is that everyone starts the match unarmed and there's some sort of resource gathering phase to collect three shards of the same color and enable your weapon. There are three shards colors that enable weapons with different properties (bullet speed, damage and ammo). Also, it's possible to get a shield that protects against specific weapon types, which forces the other players to discard their current weapon and get a different one to be able to destroy the shield. This adds some strategy to a rather frenetic gameplay.

    We also have some other nice features, like various game itens and a clone mode where everytime you die and respawn a clone repeating your actions of the previous life is created to help you. We will discuss these features soon in the next posts.

    We are still trying to find an artist to work in the project, so for now it's a mix of programmer art and some free art available on the web. Here's a more recent screenshot with some light effects turned on:
