Hello. I own an iMac but I was thinking on getting a second screen at least to make more room for the desktop.

Can Unity3d GUI for OS X be split into more than 1 screen at the same time to have different windows on each screen (i.e.: the code editor in 1 screen and the rest of the GUI in the other one)?

If the answer is yes, in up to how many screens it can be done / you suggest to have it running in?

    Thanks.

Yes, you can extend the Editor across multiple monitor screens, or undock the windows (Game, Scene, Profiler, Hierarchy, Inspector, etc.) and place/resize them in your different screens.
