Unity2d Platformer Help!!!

    Hello, I am trying to create a 2d Plaformer and i want the character to be able to move not only on the X axis but the Y axis so it looks like the character is not only moving across the road but up the road also. I Dont even know how to start to do this so if you guys can help that would be wonderful!!! :)

    try to ask more concrete :) What platformer should it be ? Realy 2d, 2.5d. Or make picture. So people can see what help you need.

    I want to make it like on "Zombie Age 2" Its a Android game the character can move in all 4 direction but its still 2d
