Wow, some really nice entries here!
I'll have to hurry up if I went to get over that finish line! At least I've picked one of the three concept I was working on - retro sci fi! - but as usual it diverged into separate ideas
The back I'm happy with, just not sure what the nose should be. Anyway, I'll have to go all in today to get this thing done in time

@Cartoomotion, I think you're model isn't labeled correctly, cause it's not showing up here.

I love all the entries! You guys have al done an amazing job!

Unfortunately I couldn't participate this time, because of my computer problems. With a new computer and everything re-installed and tested, it's all working again, so I'm looking forward to the next challenge!

I love how varied the entries are for this one

So my PC overheating issues got worse and now it's out getting repaired... typically nothing go smoothly for me with these contests! But fear not, I persevered and managed to get my entry finished on my old XP machine (despite it not even being able to run a WebGL page...). I think I invented a few new swear words over the past few days...

Wasn't able to do everything I wanted with the textures, but still happy with the result:

And of course, It wouldn't be a UCAC without me posting on the last day

love to watch the tag too, usually most things are so similar, but tis one got some nice designs in it.

 

Welp, I was in a hurry and mixed up some low-poly meshes and my retopo, so I'm not too happy with what I could save. Anyways. That's what happens if you stress people!

Still, I liked the idea of the design so here is my sligthly crippled entry.

You entry doesn't have the tag UCAC-March2016 in Sketchfab, but substanceucac-march2016 instead. So it doesn't show up in the Sketchfab UCAC-March2016 qualified and finished Entries overview. From Thomas' post:

Sadly, I didn’t have time to work on more stylized textures before the deadline like I hoped (personal life got in the way) so I will probably rework the textures at a later date as well as model and include the pilot mices.

 

I have been so busy at work this week. I was using my graphics tab so much that my arm was actually hurting. I am thinking I may give it a last push though and try to get something entered.
Do I have until midnight?

Ok this one went close...

Note for self, never learn new techniques on the day of deadline... Atleast I got this one done but im only about 40% happy.. didnt have time to texture the wheels and many other things.

 

I think there were some issues with the tag, as far as i know.
Seems like that bug ist still around.
did you try to edit it out and in again? maybe that fixes it.

I tried, i m sorry not to have managed to enter in time, all was pretty hectic around here, good luck to all there are really some amazing pieces, the judges are in trouble now =)

 

I missed the deadline but got pretty far along with the modelling. I wish I had more free time over the last month.

 

@dark_minaz: thanks for the help, I did what you suggested but the problem still remains.

So many amazing entries! It will be so difficult to judge. My personal faves are Wind Wakart and your Speedpunk Cart. I hope you are able to get the tag sorted. I am sure Thomas will still count your entry.
I really wish I had time to finish modelling and add textures but I will definitely finish it as a side project. Considering I started from scratch at 7 ish last night I didn't do too bad. ;-)

I don't finish my project but is so exciting to work with other entrants.
And it's really good for see the things to do ... and not do. :/

Congrats! I saw a lot of good entries. I too feel motivated to learn more about modeling. At the vimeo site I found a few tutorials on modeling that caught my attention.
