Unity 5 Crash on Startup

    I got a new computer and after installing the windows optional update;

    "Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Audio Device, Other hardware - Realtek High Definition Audio"

    Unity immediately crashes as soon as a project is selected.

    Rolling back to a restore point before this update was the only solution so far.
