United Racing WIP Shaders

    Hi, i am a 14 year old developer and i need some feedback on these skyshop shaders:

    kinda like trolling for attention? I actually find age to be helpful when giving feedback. A young person is less likely to be heavily experienced and so any responses can be better tailored to the person at hand.

    GTASUPERFAN, Does the shader animate? The actual water effect looks quite nice, if it animates according to movement that would awesome!

    If possible, try and separate the specular for the water from the specular for the car paint. They should have completely different models, and it looks a little off using the water specular on non watered areas

    When the weather is rainy it will get dense and will slide down the car, i have not done that yet but i was going to add that.

    The bump or normal mapping of the rain seems to have reduced quite a bit in the new shot.

    Notice how the water is ontop of the paint specular, or separated from the specular effect?

    Brilliant! That looks MUCH much better in my opinion. The water now appears to be completely separate to the paint, whereas it looked like lumps on the paint before.

    Is it possible to further blur the shapes of the rain? Although you probably wouldn't get this close!

    Most of the rain drops should have a completely smooth non-flat surface. If you can achieve this, it will give you those really nice specular highlights on each droplet.

    Can we get a long distance shot?

    May I request the mods make this a temporary ban-able offense? And why is the car covered in water droplets any? Was it rain? A car wash? Retrieved from the ocean?
