I'm going to miss the Tokyo one by less than two weeks! 残念ですね。

I'll try to make it to the Boston one in September, though... Unite 2014 was a blast, and the most useful conference I attended all year. I highly recommend it!

I remember asking for Boston back in August. I can finally attend a Unite, so I'm happy.

We've had many many many West coast Unites and a lot of shout out from those on the East Coast to bring it over so we have. Maybe we could start alternating, but I am not overlord of these events.

It is good to see there is one in Europe this year. I enjoyed the unofficial-but-became-sort-of-offical Untied conference last year, but hopefully Unite will be better.

Even better would be if it was in the original Boston, not that new one that is named after it. But I can understand why you didn't do that.

Hmm, a bit far but its idea time to make a nice and visit Vermont and surrounds during the autumn leaf season.

Do these Unite Events cost money, LOL, like rock concerts or something?

Yes there is a cost. Its typically more then a rock concert, but in line with what you would expect for any other professional conference.

From memory Australia's one last year was 110 AUD for the one day event.

Oh, then I'll probably skip it and spend time at the Cape instead. Can't see paying to go to a event were the holder of the event is, in fact, selling their product. MS held one in Cincy, once, and not only did we not pay but we left with a copy of Office Professional, a t-shirt and a superball that lights up when you bounce it. Probably other things too that I don't remember. The conference wasn't as boring as you would had thought. That was in 2007 though before the Apple events became popular. And go to an event were the sponsors know a bunch of government workers and contractors will be there. You'll leave looking like you visited a toy factory. Who knows, maybe MS charges now too?

That's no problem, I'm not complaining it's just a bit out of my budget to fly out east is all - should be fun, enjoy - i'll be watching for video feeds :) !

There's video feeds of Unite conferences?!
    if so...
...I might take a peek when I get time! :) Point being, I'm in the same boat as you, especially since I'm still at school... :D

I went to Unite 2013 and I have to say I regret skipping Unite 2014.

When will the agenda/schedule be available?

Any hope more info before? Its bit late for the asian conferences and later ones dont really fit our timetable. I'm curious about the Bangkok/Tokyo events specifically, will the event language be english (ie. talks, trainings) as the the description page is in native language? Will there be anyone from Unity that we can discuss about terrain and rendering specific questions?

On the Bangkok Facebook Page they have confirmed that David Helgason will be giving the Keynote and Paul Tham, our Head of 2D, will talk about the roadmap for the 2D features in Unity 5.x.

This is very exciting. And I'm looking forward to meeting all of these awesome developers. I'm hoping I can get tickets for the Boston Unite, since I'll probably be very close to it.

I was going to go but nut and fruit trees are expensive so I'll have to skip it. :-(

Besides that 2nd link Andy Touch post doesn't list copy - paste as a topic worthy of discussion at these events. :)

I was just going to register for training day (can't get the other days off from work) and I noticed the promocode option. Is there a promo code somewhere for Unite Europe?
