We're currently translating our documentation into Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Russian, to make it the best it can be and speed up the process, we need your help.

If you'd like to help us translate our documentation pages, visit http://translate.unity3d.com/

You will need to sign in with your Unity Account (the same one you use for the community site and store) and please read the terms before you hit accept! Additionally, you MUST read the guidelines of the translation system before participating, this will tell you how to use the system and how to format your translations.

We're currently only working on those languages at the moment.

I think Unity3d can allow people to translate every languages they prefer something like Wikipedia.
Also this limited style can help Unity3d to translate 100% of documentary in one language.
But Before start translating its better to have voting.
thanks for every thing Unity3d ;)

@darekopaska We are focusing on the languages that have the most users at the moment. We are also working on Chinese, Japanese and Korean, but those are handled by the respective countries, perhaps more on that later.

Aramaic and Sanskrit are on the list ... right after Latin and as soon as we find Unity users who are native speakers of that ;)

sorry to be so blunt here but why not actually write more info to the docs first before translating them.
I just went through the scripting docs and have no idea what so ever what anything is.
For someone fairly new to c# scripting it was extremely confusing for me to understand any of it due to lack of information.

I'd have to disagree a little bit. The documentation should be as robust as possible, however the purpose of them is to learn about the Unity API, not to learn C#. If you're new to C# development you should use MSDN, Pluralsight, books and/or the plethora of online resources to learn C#. Trying to dual purpose the Unity documentation as a general C# learning resource would muddle the documentation and water it down which shouldn't be its intent.

There is a lot of unity specific classes and functions that are undocumented, although to be fair the most common ones are covered. Extending the editor is where I find the most undocumented "gems", usually referenced by someone on these fourms years ago, but not officially documented to a reasonable standard.

Let's keep this about translating; topics about other documentation subjects can be posted in the documentation category.

I can help with the Idiot translation. Oh wait; that wasn't the important one despite it being very popular :p

Yep sorry, I got nothing. Another pointless post by that fool, Meat5000

No one has event mentioned Dovahzul!

Since there seems to be no more legit questions I'm closing this. If there are legit issues, raise them in the Documentation forum.
