Awesome low poly work! The texturing is really nice.

The subway car that you created doesn't look like the real thing.

    It's not a subway car. It's a train.

I think it may be a cultural thing. It probably looks exactly like a train car in Hyderabad, India.

@jeffmorris: As Kenlem said it's not a subway car its a train, i made this model low-poly and 512x512 texture to suits mobile platform games.

@Kenlem: Not exactly like a Hyderabad, India train car. Its a mix of metro and subway car train.

Looks like a US-style subway car design to me. Granted, it could use some more detail under the solebar—the front bogie looks a bit bare—but as most gamers wouldn't be looking that closely at it, it's certainly good enough for use in a game.

The UP loco is very good for a low-poly model. (I'd probably have gone with something like "United Atlantic", as "Unino Pacific" looks like a spelling error.)

@jeffmorris1956: Subway trains can vary quite a bit in design these days. Granted, it's not 100% accurate, but for a game where licensing real logos and liveries may be prohibitive, a bit of artistic license is perfectly acceptable.

That said, there really should be more than one car model for a complete subway train: most EMUs have a cab at each end, but not in every single car. Some cars have motors; others are just simple trailers. Etc. Some variations wouldn't go amiss.

I just want to repeat my point that I'm not criticising your models, just your sales technique: Unlike Unity-specific assets like scripts and tutorials, which only work with Unity, 3D models are much more generally available as Unity can take them in almost any format. Your 3D models are therefore competing with the models found on every other 3D model market website out there on the internet. And there are a lot of those websites now.

At the moment, I don't think I'd be able to justify spending $20 on these. Not that they're bad, but it's just not that hard to find perfectly good free 3D models online and you're competing with those websites too. You need to offer additional value. For example, most of those free 3D model / textures websites don't offer themed packs, so you could fill that gap by offering packs that focus on specific types of rolling stock: e.g. a "US Subway Cars Pack" (with a bunch of US-style subway cars), a similar pack for, say, French—or perhaps the more generic "European"—subway cars; throw in a "US Freight Railroad Pack" with the locos and freight wagons, with additional variations such as "Hi-Cube" container wagons too. Once you've got the main model built, it's very easy to just "re-skin" the same model with a different texture to add variety.

Also, if you work with highly detailed models and reduce their polygons for the final release, you could even offer two sets of each model: one high-detail model for use in a game's UI—"Hey, this new loco just came on the market! Wanna buy one for your railroad?"—and one for use in the game itself. Or you could offer "Low-Poly" and "High-Poly" versions in different packs.

It's a new york city subway car, not an above ground train.

I ride that train ( the L train ) every day.

Some buyers said that they are using this trains for Train Simulator kind of games. I made wheels and wheel base meshes separate for wheel rotation and added LOD's.

I am planning to add more BoxCars for freight engine like oil tank etc.

I love this, however for my project I'm looking for a passenger train with an interior that the player can ride. If this had an interior, I would buy it.
