Does this work in unity 5 PE edition or is it still only a unity pro feature for post processing? Thanks for your time.
All shaders are SM2.0 and optimised for maximum efficiency, balanced for all platforms as a result of 4+ years of maintenance. Except 1 shader which is LightShafts effect(SM3.0), but it is easy to decrease the quality of this one to make it faster on mobile as well.
do you have any prove / demo package for testing mobile performance before purchase? maybe 1 blur package so that I can compare with unity's blur(optimize). How good is it compare to Colorful FX? https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/44845 I expect this package is really good because it was "Maintained/Upgraded for 4 years.."
Sorry no demo for mobile. I dont know anything about colorfulfx either. There are 3 different blur shaders in this pack and you can combine them all to get desired effect. Finally, yes this pack is really good.
I have a problem with the Thermal Vision V2, it works on editor but it goes blank on build Standalone. Any idea why? Unity 5.4.1f.
Solved, the shader was, but the textures for noise and thermal no, so your question solved it. Thanks.
Does this pack contain an anti aliasing effect? I'm looking for something that will run well on WebGL as Unitys native AA in WebGL causes huge frame rate drops in the browser.
No antialiasing effect in this pack. Anti aliasing shaders have a performance cost by its nature, whatever technique you use, you will still face a 25%-50% performance drop for any 4x AA
Just pointing something out... you don't list the effects that are included on the Asset Store page? Someone just recommended this pack to me, but the store page doesn't really tell me what I'm getting.
You are correct, there is a lack of info there. However, the images of the effects (although not all effects have images as some of them are best viewed while animated) and the list of package contents should give you an idea about whats in there.
Good news, just finished the new update and will submit today. *Works great with 2017.3 and above versions. *Major overhaul on all effects, and making them more user friendly. *Single pass stereo support on all effects. *All effects are optimised for maximum possible frame rates now. *Tidied up codes and added an include file for repetitive tasks, so the shader files are all clean and understandable. A great learning resource now. *Not bloated with same effects and different versions, only the effects with widely used ones for games.
The package is on New Year Sale with 50% OFF. And if you use the coupon code HELLO2022, you will get an additional 5% discount.
Hello, I just recently purchased this asset and was wondering which combination of scripts was used to produce this image featured on the asset store page. https://pasteboard.co/6GgFIRCvvFWu.jpg
Hi, it is just one shader, the 4bit OR posterize shader with 32-64 colors (now i dont remember but whichever one accepts range of colors as input)
Does this work with URP? If not think you can get it working with URP, I especilaly love the effect on the right here: But if it doesnt work with urp I cannot justify buying it.
No i dont support URP or any other demo renderer. They are not in usable form and i can not justify to waste my time and effort on things that will go missing soon especially for this cheap price. However, you are buying the source code and if you feel comfortable with developing on the rendering pipelines yourself, you can just copy the logic and math to URP and other rendering pipelines. If not comfortable, you shouldnt develop on URP at all anyways.
