    This project is a Top-Down RPG Starter Kit for Unity.
    Easy to use and modify. A beginner can easily understand and use this (All main script has a custom editor) , Scripts are written in c#.

    wow looks great any info it ngui and mecanim supported and if it includes pathfinding?

    We didn't use NGUI or mecanim system in this package and about pathfinding we didn't use this system because pathfinding is available only in unity pro version we want unity free version can open this package.

    That looks like really cool! Dwill players be abkle to play it also online? if yes, will it have any in-game chat?

    Hi! First of alll, This kit it really awesome! :D
    and I wonder if we can make mobile game with this? such as ios or android? Is it optimized or usable with touchscreen mobiles? :D
    Oh and does this kit comes with the assets as shown in the screenshots? :rolleyes:
    And does it also includes dialogues or quest editors?

    We think this package not support mobile because there are too many system and a lot of model in the scene.

    Yes, this package include all mode that you see from demo and screenshot.

    For now this packge don't have dilogue or quest editor but we will update it in the future.

    Well I guess if we scale down the world size it would probably work.
    Oh and it's good news to see that you still have features you will be updating it with :D

    Love this Asset! Although I don't have a need for it right now, I just wanted to say this is one awesome asset here! DreamStudio I think this will be a top seller, but I think it will be a top seller if faster if you add Multiplayer Support, and I think if you look into Photon Unity Networking you will have an even more amazing product here as I'm sure just about everyone wants Mutliplayer Support.

    I don't think many people enjoy Single Player RPG Games anymore in comparison to Multiplayer RPGs unless its on a Console which i doubt many indie developers are targeting in comparison to Web, Desktop, or Mobile.

    Again Great Work and Consider the Multiplayer Support! I'm pretty sure Photon Unity Networking will make things pretty easy for you.

    I'm customizing some windows by "Tutorial.pdf", but I can't found "Player-swordman" in Hierarchy when I sow page54-Menu Setup. How do I change that?

    Attack force will be negative when you equip the matter with drag-and-drop.

    I would buy it if it had Mobile support and mecanim.
    Mobile should be enough for beginning :D Iam an artist and looking for a nice toolkit to start with.
    Pls add mobile support and you will have one more customer ^^

    i have fix one think's about move speed move status is no use in game on line 600 of heroscontroler

    movedir = transform.TransformDirection(Vector3.forward* (moveSpeed +playerStatus.status.movespd) );

    but it's look the same think's for the speed atk i have remove the delay but attack continue to be slow
    any idea where's i can found this !!

    The code you are currently looking at refers to the movement speed. If you want attack speed, you should be looking at line 248 under WaitAttack()
    delayAttack -= Time.deltaTime * playerStatus.statusCal.atkSpd;

    The base attack speed is set on the Player prefab under Player Status

    I like how simple it is to set things up..But..I have a slight problem...everytime I create a new scene and get it all set up, when I test the level in the editor everything is fine. The player spawns at the right point, but when I build it and test it as a stand-alone, the player spawns in the right point but I have no camera control and it appears halfway imbedded into the ground...Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong and how to fix it?

    I am having problems with the player face and mini map, I have not change anything this is a fresh install of the kit. Why is it black and not showing the face cam and mini map cam?

    Ya I have questions about this system as well. How modular are the systems? Can I edit the UI, change textures, add mechanics to the menus? Can I alter the system to work with an entire 2D game? I'm interested in custom drops things like that. Anyone used this system enough to know how friendly it is to customize?

    This can happen if you use Unity Free. Open the Dreamdev Village scene, go to GameSetting and tick Hide Minimap and Disable Face Render. It appears they're Unity Pro only features. Disabling Face Render with then display whatever image is selected in HeroController

    I don't know if you've fixed this issue or not by now, but if not: can you control the camera by holding down right mouse button and moving the mouse around? I found a very similar issue if the Player hadn't spawned when the camera code initialised. I fixed this by copying a chunk of the code in MouseOrbit.cs Start() into LateUpdate():

    Hello, I appreciate a wonderful asset.
    However, I hava a problem.
    Like the attached picture, it is Qwest NPC.
    In-progress Setup
    Quest Complete Setup
    Quest After Complete Setup cannot be edited.
    What should I do?

    I am following tutorial document problem is when i add hero controller script to my new model character i go on to not have the option to put in normal attack animations , in normal attack size even if i put 1-2-3 any number the options to add the animations never unfolds .. help!?

    And ex: if i play the demo right now and buy a shield that gives 2 defense i equip it in the slot and if i check my status i had 18 def before and still have 18def after equiping it , but when i remove it (unequip) it takes out 2 def so im left with 16 def..Somethings not working like it is supposed to ! ...

    Hi, great kit. I am trying to set up my player and have added the hero controller script,

    When I put in a number for mesh, do not get any options that drop down for me to put info in, also, I get no option for Take attack color or auto attack.
    I am using Ver 1.2

    Also wanted to mention that iI tried the demo, when I bought a ring and rod, the stats id not apperar to change in the skills GUI, is that an error?

    I also noted that when I got my 1st skill, Heal, I put it in the action bar, and any time I clicked it, left or right, it did not work, just disappeared?

    A few questions to creator and buyers:

    1. How is the after-sale support for it ?
    2. Can it or parts of it be used in a 2d RPG (top-down or a tilebased)
    3. Is integrating multiplayer possible, if so, what would be the difficulty level
    4. Are the characters 3d models ?

    I think the asset's been abandoned as of version 1.2, no updates or thread posts since half a year.

    1. As others have said there's zero support
    2. You could probably use a lot of the RPG stuff in a 2d game without too much problem ie: inventory, skills, quests. Just be prepared to get no support from the developer with implementing it.
    3. Yes it is, I've been doing it. I've been setting up client/server model and there's lots of work involved with unlinking the above mentioned systems from the player side of things to be controlled by the server. You might have an easier time if you go peer-to-peer. The whole kit is quite heavily written with single player in mind.
