    Any idea how far off your Simple Interiors pack is from release? I'm starting work on a new game with your assets and need interiors so I need to decide whether to build my own or wait- thanks and love your stuff!

    Will the interior be separated (do we need use separated scenes) or will you open the buildings from other pack to combine with interior?

    @paulojsam - we will release screen once we submit to Unity

    @Devision4 - We will be looking at opening up the buildings, the main issue is we didn't build the buildings with interiors in mind so we will have to either come up with alternative buildings.

    @im - Lighthouse, lifeguard tower and surfboards sounds like a good idea.
    Simple Interiors will cover non character based internal assets ie computers etc.
    Simple Theme park is definitely on our list.

    About the mobile optimization, we can always use mesh baker. Its very easy to use and the results are very good.

    Thats what im doing at the moment, but its a shame that i have to buy other tools when these assets all advertise that they are "mobile ready" on their store page. Right now they should have the mobile ready part taken off as it is false advertisement

    "Mobile Ready" just indicates that it runs on mobile and it does, so i don`t see anything wrong with this.

    What exactly is the point of even stating that then if thats the case? Any model will run on a mobile. Its literally stating nothing then in that case, its essentially just saying "3D models!" but in a misleading way. Far better to get rid of the big mobile ready banner thats stapled across each store page.

    Other assets that i have bought that state "mobile ready" are actually optimized for mobiles, hence they are "ready" for use on a mobile without further work required, which is not the case for this set. And those assets dont say "mobile optimized", they say "mobile ready" on their pages, so thats why im mislead. why not just have it follow the trend of the store rather than using a slogan used elsewhere in a different way?

    Not true. Some models dont run on mobile due shader conflicts.

    Its still an incredibly poor thing to advertise in the way its done, and really how many models do you come across like that in the modern day? I own more than 200 assets, half of which are model packs and ive only had that be an issue once or twice at the most, and even then its really nothing to change the shader to a mobile supported one. Which costs nothing.

    In comparison to get these models to run well on mobile in a real game scenario you need to put a lot of time, effort and/or money in. And its not like a lot of these things couldnt be done by synty, they have made the items pack well optimized and done all the right stuff in that pack like adding all textures to a single atlas and making everything reference one material, so why not do it for the others?

    Ive bought every single pack and ive had to optimize them all except one myself, all im saying is its going to make the packs a lot more palatable to any developer working on a commercial mobile project if they dont have to give up more money and manpower just to get the assets to work properly for a platform that they are advertised for. Either way it wont make a difference to us as we have already gone and optimized them ourselves, but it will certainly benefit any future buyers. So to be honest you guys can argue the semantics of whats advertised all you want, in the end what im suggesting is only going to benefit the packs appeal to future buyers whilst doing nothing for me and my team personally.

    I personally think the assets from synthy are the best available. So much content for so much low money. They are mobile ready, maybe not mobile optimized but the lag of your app depends on your programming skills and the hardware of the mobile.

    We are well aware of that, none of my developers past projects have ever had this much lag before, and to check it we have subbed in placeholder assets from other asset packs which reduced lag significantly.This isnt just a "our app is badly programmed and/or optimized" issue, this is an issue to do with after doing numerous optimization sprints with 3 developers allocated in 2 week sprint patterns, we still have hit a wall where only optimizing the assets we have bought allowed us to get back to framerates considered reasonable for a commercial release.

    As for your comment on saying syntys assets are the best available, to be honest I wasnt really saying the quality of the assets are bad. My whole team feel the assets are high quality, or we would never have bought every single one as soon as they came out with the aim to use them in a commercial release. All im saying in my comments are that there is a simple way to increase their quality and usability, and I personally think it would be well worth investing their efforts in.

    mroyusa - Instructions for what? Some of the packs include a readme txt doc if they need it, otherwise there isn't much to instruct.

    I am trying to add stuff especially road sections but not sure how it works to make roads with simple town, need directions or instructions.

    We have included a demo scene which will show how it can be constructed (more effective at displaying how how things work), also remember to use snapping settings under the edit menu. Hope that helps

    Simple Town 11.01 - update
    We tried to remove the texture issue when using Anti-aliasing on the highway but was only able minimalize it (ultimately the default Unity anti-aliasing has a bug, use an anti-aliasing script on the camera instead if you run into the texture issue)

    Just updated to Simple Military 1.11 and the mecanim animations seem to be broken (1.10 worked fine). When i try to set the Death_b parameter on a character on true nothing happens, when i first set Crouch_b to true and then Death_b to true then the character crouches and dies right after :|

    I want to buy your assets but I would like to have the Maya Binary to use.

    @syntystudios Animation transitions really seem to be broken in 1.11 simple military, any news on a fix? Pulling my hairs out trying to figure out whats going on.

    Checked out Unity 5.1.3 with the same result, almost wondering if i'm doing something wrong here

    @syntystudios When i'm using the SimpleCharacter AnimatorController most of the transitions seem to be not there. If i try to use the demo Simple Character 1 Animator Controller all the transitions seem to be there as expected.

    Simple Military 1.12
    - Fixed the Unity 5.0 character controllers
    Turns out when you convert a Unity 4.5 project to Unity 5.0 it screws up character controllers :( - we have transferred over a character controller which wasn't assigned to a character and then manually swapped them out per character (not fun) this fixed the issue

    David James - We will take a look at this in a bit (Simple Military and Airport have an option to make the characters static) we should be able to bring that setup over to people without any major issues.

    David James - On each character you can untick "Apply Root Motion" and this will fix your issue.

    Really nice assets. Few questions (mostly about the vehicles)

    1. Are these optimised for work on mobile devices?
    2. I'm a bit unclear as to how you use these in a game. How would you hook the cars up to a game where the cars and wheels had proper physics? Do they work with any other physics plugins?
    3. How would you use these in a 2D game? could you force the perspective or something?
    4. Is it possible to change the models to create different designs or add to their designs? (like weapon add on's).
