    Hi Guys,

Just thaught I'd share my new game with you.

"Shred! Extreme Mountain Biking" is a multi-platform video game that captures the intensity, flow and lifestyle of Downhill & Freeride mountain biking!

Available now on Google Play and the Apple App Store!

    Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ASBO.Shred
    iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/shred!-extreme-mountain-biking/id926256202?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo=2

As a 3D artist/animator and Mountainbike fanatic, I've created this game entirely on my own with some help from the brilliant "Randomation Vehicle Physics" (https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/#/content/12013) package from on asset store for the hardcore bike physics. Justin, the guy behind the product has been extremely supportive of his package and I simply cannot recommend his services enough!

Everything else I've programmed myself using Playmaker, and it's been a serious learning curve to say the least!

I'm only using Unity Indie and am continually amazed by the graphical quality and can be achieved in it! I think in this project i'm pushing it to almost the limit on the mobile platform. Looking forward to Unity 5!

Some eye candy! All taken from within Unity using in-game assets!

Looks pretty sweet. Are you using a mesh or a terrain for the courses?

    Hi thanks!

I'm using the T4M (terrain for mobile) plugin from the asset store. Basically I have created all of the environments in my 3D package and assigned UVW coordinates.

Then using the plugin you can paint textures and tree meshes on the terrain mesh like the standard unity terrain system but much more lightweight for mobile usage.

Oh - cool.. I actually have the plugin, just haven't really used it. Thanks for the info, and good luck with the game!
