    Hi
was the shift key for editing colliders removed in 4.6?
    I does not work anymore.

Pressing shift is so much quicker then using the mouse to press on/off the dedicated button.
    Why not use both.

We now have the 'Edit Collider' button in the Collider Component.
But I stll want to be able to use the Shift option; much faster!

Please report this as a bug (I will)

    It's not a bug:

    From support:
"It was removed because shift is already used for other conflicting things as well.
For Move Tool, shift enables freeform (screen space) movement. For Rect tool, shift snaps to axis, keeps aspect ratio when resizing, as well as modifying the effect of other modifier keys."

Not sure I'm happy with this, I didn't use any of those 'other conflicting things'. Just used shift for fast editing colliders.
And that's the one they take out :(

    (Fast reaction from support though...)

Getting another shortcut key to replace it would be handy as it's really useful when doing a lot of collider editing.

+1 for at least changing it to something else instead of removing it. It's a pain in the ass for editing lots of colliders on the fly...

Necro-agreed, especially since getting a hold of those retarded little dots to pull each side of the collider is something you often miss and have to redo. Rendering those same dots for editing also doesn't work when there's multiple Inspectors open - pushing the Edit Collider button only works from one of the Inspectors, and as a bonus, reloading your saved viewport layout CHANGES from which one it works ;)
