Schwerkraft (http://www.schwerkraftgame.com) is a puzzle game, in which alien Max travels through space passing planets, asteroids, and black holes. Your goal is to make Max happy again by collecting and bringing back the stars which disappeared from the hero’s home planet. You can control Max indirectly: By tapping on planets you activate and deactivate their gravity and change the direction Max is drawn to. Max lives in a two-dimensional universe in which the calculation of gravity is very realistic and allows the player to initiate complex flight maneuvers.

The difficulty of a level depends on the position and size of the planets. In the beginning the player will find a sufficient amount of planets and Max can be steered into any direction directly. With increasing progress, the game will demand a lot of dexterity. In some levels the solution is to be patient and navigate Max cautiously; whereas in others a fast curvy path is the right way to reach all stars.

Schwerkraft is designed in a simple and beautiful style: Clear lines and bright colors dominate the scene – which perfectly fits the current generation of smartphone operating systems. When taking a closer look on the game, you will discover many visual highlights. The planets are not only based on a harmonious color palette, their textures are even generated dynamically. Thereby, no level run looks like the previous one. Hero Max always looks into the direction of the closest star and has a smile on the face when one is collected.

Another highlight is the music, which adjusts according to the situation during the game. Careful players will experience rather slow and spheric sounds reminding of „Lost in Space“. If the gamer is acting more aggressively however, a rise of intensity of the music can be noticed. The sound effects blend in flawlessly and pay tribute to computer sounds of classics like "2001: A Space Odyssey".
