Recovering lost password?

Hi, I only just figured out how to change my email address...I wanna change it to my Gmail address and change or recover my password too, but I require my current password to do so, and I don't see a "forgot password" or "recover password" option on the account settings. This is really frustrating...my existing email address on record has been defunct for over a year and it needs to be changed, but I have forgotten what my original password was. I swore I wrote it down, but I didn't. Can anyone help?
