Hello fellow Unity devs! We would like to take the opportunity to share our project that we have decided to use Unity3D for. Raindrop is a surreal, environment driven, first-person survival game that includes fully explorable levels, with intuitive and complex puzzles, backed by a horror themed story line. Players will immerse themselves into a twisted and horrifying world, while actively experiencing a slew of emotions and deeper thought processes than most titles out on the current market. Raindrop's artistic direction will combine several degrees of intellectual game play into a theatrical story driven experience where the environment comes alive. Please watch the trailer in HD! If you like what you see, please watch us on IndieDB!
Yeh, I saw this on IndieDB yesterday as well, I thought its AMAZING and was going to post this but I thought I should let the author do that Good job! Whoever says Unity can't achieve "AAA" or Crysis look should look at your game! It also reminds me of this project : The light (indie Game) http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/151155-The-light-(indie-Game) Very realistic lighting, models, and the guy is from Russia too! Maybe you guys know each other? BTW, I saw some extensive use of "Dirty Lens Effect", did you made that yourself or did you use one of the Asset Store asset (eg. "glareFX Dirt Lens Effect" or "Dirty Lens Effect")?? Also, did you bake all your lightmaps inside Unity or externally? The quality looks amazing!
Thank you for the comments! We wanted to show some additional screens and assets related to Raindrop. Please enjoy! Please follow, track, or watch us via your preferred media outlet!
Hello folks, we would like to share the new teaser for Raindrop. Check out our in-game trailer of our game using Unity3D. Please watch in HD! Please follow, track, or watch us via your preferred media outlet!
WOW! I really like the art-style, beautiful designed environments. The scenes in the 2nd trailer, where the character is running/escaping, are fantasic. Love the 1st person camera movement there, reminds me of lots of horror movies. I'll definitely keep an eye on this one. youtube channel subscribed.
Hello folks! We wanted to showcase some more content from our game, Raindrop. We have been extremely satisfied and excited to be utilizing Unity. For the longest time, we've debated, researched, and used several competing game engines, but Unity3d is by far the most supported, versatile, and flexible engine for our project. We have recently launched a kickstarter campaign, in hopes to achieve our initial goal, which will fund the continuation or our project. Bellow, we have posted some of our work. We would really appreciate any support form our fellow Unity devs. Even if you just take a look, or spread the word, our appreciation would be unmeasurable. So with out further delay, below is some content: Screenshots from Raindrop in the Source Engine (2009)
For more information and media, please visit our kickstarter page or our website. Thank you for your support!

Came across this while looking for an open world survival game to play. Looks amazing and I hope you guys are continuing development. A bit shocked that this was on Kickstarter in 2013 and never got funded. Hope you get to finish it. Could do with a decent open world survival game
