So if you click the Unity.exe in the folder, what happens? Any error messages?

By default, go to C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor and double-click Unity.exe. Then tell us what happens.

Unity also creates a desktop shortcut when installed.

On Windows 10, in the Start Menu it shows recently installed programs... I forgot if Windows 7 has that.

I keep saying this over and over on the forums: PLEASE be specific about what your problem is. Don't just say "it doesn't work", please state what happens after your try to do something. The better you describe your issue, the more answers and help you'll get :)
