    Hi guys,
Some of you asked in my previous thread about photorealistic textures only, so here they are :D
There will be several packs with photoscanned materials, don't confuse it with photosource, they're based on real-life geometry, therefore will have accurate Normal and Height maps, all tileable and in 4k resolution.
    Packs for now:
    1)Photoscanned Miscellaneous - FREE - http://u3d.as/heB
    -1 dead leaves material
    -1 pebbles material
    -1 wood chips material
    2)Photoscanned Grass - 5$ - http://u3d.as/gUN
    -5 grass materials
    3)Photoscanned Ground - 4$ - http://u3d.as/hey
    -4 ground/dirt materials
    4)Photoscanned Concrete - 4$ - http://u3d.as/hH3
-4 concrete materials (great as detail textures for structures)
    5)Photoscanned Plaster - $3 - http://u3d.as/iU9
-4 plaster materials (useful for details on structures)
    6)Photoscanned Forest Ground -3$ - http://u3d.as/k4Y
-2 forest ground and one moss, great for nature scenes!
    7)Photoscanned Asphalt - $3 - http://u3d.as/kyx
-2 asphalt concrete for creating for example roads

Here are few samples on my Sketchfab:

Nice, but a closer look at "Dead Leaves Material" reveals that seamless could be made much better ;)

I've decided to add a bonus - tileable tree bark, might be useful :)

Here are some screens how it looks on terrain:

I'm about to submit this pack, is 10$ fine for all 15 materials?

Hm.. I guess it may work very good :) I've made few types of materials, so if you set them up properly you will have a nice transitions (see the screenshot, how grass is changing from lower to higher density), the pack will also contain small river rocks which you can use to make lake shore :) Unfortunately I don't have proper rocks/mountains textures but I guess dirt may work as well :)
You will be able to check it soon, I'm uploading package to AssetStore and will send for submittion, so stay tuned ;)

Hi guys, I've got response from AssetStore Submittion, and this pack is too big, it's over 2 GB because of 4k textures. Beacuse of that, I'll make smaller packages, let's say 5 grass materials for 5$, 4 dirt for 4$... and so on, one material for 1$ multiplied by quantity in pack :) What do you think? Would this price be right?
All will have 4k Albedo/Diffuse, Normal and Heightmap (Roughness and/or Metalness too when I'll be making more specific textures)

About concrete and tree bark - I'll make more photo scans in near future and make bigger packs :)

@Gerschill I'll make soon tiling screens, but textures are not intended to use as standalone, but in connection with others (check terrain screens earlier), players won't notice tiling anyway
@hermie OK, I'll do it, sorry for not noticing it, I was using it rather as "fill" between rocks and trees
@Elecman it's something like asphalt concrete? will do, just need to wait for better lighting outside :)

I'm about to submit another packs:
    - 4 Concrete materials for 4$; great as they are but also good as detail texture ;)
    - 2 Plaster materials for FREE :) maybe I'll make paid upgrade to more plaster when I'll make them ;)
Here is screen and Sketchfab previews:

    And plaster:

I've just finished and submitted Photoscanned Forest Ground pack, it contains 3 materials - two ground and 1 moss. It will cost 3$, it's great on its own, and gets even better in connection with my other packages like Photoscanned Trunks, Stumps and Roots pack(http://u3d.as/fkf)!

I'll soon submit to AssetStore another FREE Material pack. This time - Asphalt :D Make realistic roads!
This pack will include only 2 texture sets, because most of the photos weren't good enough :(

Keep buying my paid stuff, and soon I'll be able to purchase decent DSLR and I'll be making more and better FREE stuff :D

@Elecman I know it's been some time, but I finally made some good enough tarmac/asphalt concrete :) Maybe you'll find it useful

    Here are screens:

Photoscanned Forest Ground Vol. 2! Will be working great in connection with Frozen Ground/Grass 1 and/or 2.
You can use it with Forest Grounds 1, but you might want to do some color tweaking in eg. GIMP so they will match.
Scanned Leaves, Frozen Ground/Grass 1 and 2, Forest Ground Vol. 2 are submitted to Asset Store, I'll probably make rest later. Most probably I'll make one big pack with new terrains with lower price than each individually after I finish all of the new series. They were all shoot at almost the same time and location, and are scaled the same way ;)

Your new textures look pretty amazing.
But you should really make a big package where you include most textures that fit together.
For example all Forest Ground where you think they fit together well and sell them for 15-20$ or something like that.

Because right now you have so many assets with 2-3 textures and it's pretty hard to follow and find the right ones. (And every X weeks there are coming more...)Also you will have simple a lot of assets in the asset window list since you can't delete them, same for the free ones.
So putting together free ones to one or max 2 assets same for payed assets and extend them in the future would be really great.
One Big Forest Asset, one big Grass / Ground Asset which includes frozen ones etc. would be good and I would by them all btw ;)

I read that you said that the textures are not intented to use as standalone. What about your new Forest 2 or Frozen Grounds? I want to use them as Terrain grounds. Will they still tile or did you fixed that? Which textures of you are supposed to be used as standalone meaning for whole terrain grounds as base or are all textures supposed to be used "on" other textures or with opacity?

    Thanks.

    @RonnyDance Thanks!
I was thinking about one big pack, after I make last smaller, Photoscanned Mud, I'll put all new together so there will be 5 packs = 15 Albedo textures all working together nicely (I'll probably include demo terrain showing possibilities)
I might make paid upgrades, so that if you for example get one of these you'll be able to upgrade to combined pack.
Updating free packages with new content won't be good I think, since there are some quality and theme differences.
Also, I noticed that most people like to get smaller parts, for example you got almost everything by yourself or from another developer and need just few textures.

They work great with default Terrain painting (screens above are simple 3x3 terrain paint), just put one first as base and paint rest two (or more) in some places for variety :)
By "standalone" I meant they shouldn't be put as only one texture all over the map/area.
I improved even older packs so they tile even better, seamlessly, but still, you'll notice a pattern if using only one texture, that's why I put at least 3, so painting them will reduce the repetition (see screens above)
There's for example special case of Dead Leaves where you get also texture with sticks, you'll clearly see repeating pattern unless you'll use just leaves as base and paint sticks in few places (as in screens).

Thanks a lot for the answer. The big Asset sounds great and payed upgrades also. Looking forward to see that.

    About Tiling / Patterns:
Ok I understand now. With standalone I also meant the same, using one texture for one big place only without using others. Simple the base texture for your terrain.
Perhaps it would be good if you could write down which textures you think should be the base texture because it does not "tile so much" and which texture should be use to paint over this or something like that. Or rename them in your package so everybody sees "mud01_base" ahh ok this is my base and "sticks01_paint" this comes above.
Because if I see your textures in the shop like the grass ones, forest etc I would want to use them all as base for my terrain without having always to add a 2nd texture to overpaint because of possible tiling problems or patterns.
Hope you understand what I mean.

    Cheers
    Ronny

    @RonnyDance
You can use in most cases any as 'base', because they're all seamlessly tileable (only few have very visible pattern, like one from DeadLeaves I mentioned).
I set first texture in numerical order as base in sample screens and DemoScenes (each pack includes small simple demo scene to show example terrain setup and suggested Metallic/Smoothness values on included materials for 5.1+).
You might think about getting one of the new 4 packs (I believe $3 is not very much) play around it and if you'll like it, just wait for paid upgrade to Scanned MegaPack (or whatever I'll call it) :)
Frozen Mud and combined big pack should be available in few weeks (I'm busy with exams at university :()

    Frozen Mud ($3 - http://u3d.as/nNf) and Frozen Grounds MegaPack ($15 - http://u3d.as/nNg) - collection of 5 sets are available! :)
If you previously bought one of the new series (list in first post) you can now upgrade to all 15 materials for just $12.
If you bought more than one and still want all 15, please continue to buy smaller packs.
