Hi All Does anyone know how I can stop the base colour of a PBR material affecting certain parts of it. I have a brick texture which mortar lines in it and the colour of the mortar lines is affected by the base colour. Does anyone have a good solution for this problem? It would be great if the base colour of a PBR was also an image map so you could control it more. Many thanks in advance
Yes, you assign a texture rather than use the base colour. http://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/StandardShaderContextAndContent.html Just assign it to the Albedo texture.
Hi Jonny, thanks for your reply. Ah ok I thought that would wash out the Albedo image having a white base colour.
It works as a tint, so you could have a mainly white image, that you can then tint with the base colour.
