Older tutorial obsolete?

I came back looking for a specific tutorial that unity did awhile ago but I believe it was for 4.6 but I cannot find it anymore. I can't remember the name of it but it was a top down sneaking game with robot AI, trap doors, elevators and so on. If anybody knows what one I'm taking about on where it went or what it's called so I can search for it would be greatly appreciated

That sounds like the Stealth tutorial. Just checked the Projects section of the Learn/Tutorials and sure enough it has disappeared.
Looks like the older 4.x tutorials are not listed on the site any more.

It's still there in the background here but it's listed as 4.x only:

Yup it was the stealth one thanks a lot

 

Stealth is still available but we consider it deprecated for now since there is so much that has changed since it was made, we don't want new users in Unity 5 trying to do it and getting confused. If you're willing to work out how to do the steps using the new feature set, go for it!
