    Hey,

I'm having some issues with the icon and image that is at the top of the resolution pop up on my standalone mac build. I've added the icon to the slot in the player settings and the resolution image to the splash screen slot.

Am I doing something wrong or should it be displaying them correctly?

That is currently a bug with the x86_64 builds. It is fixed internally but can't say when it will be available.

Any fix or work around for this, since v4.2.2f even the x86 builds don't have an icon. Not very professional putting out software without an icon. :(

Works fine here. But if necessary, you can always add the icon manually pretty easily (which is what everyone did before Unity had the option to do it automatically).

Can you please explain how to insert the icon manually?
this can be pretty easy for you, but we do not have any clue about how to do this.

(we do know 4.2.2 is pretty old and newer versions fix the problem, still we do need to use 4.2.2 to port to Mac an old project that break if upgraded…)

To do it properly, make an .icns file to put in Contents/Resources. You can also just copy and paste the icon, but that's not entirely ideal since it can be removed with the delete key (leaving the original icon).

Hey derkol, Unity half fixed it, the workaround is,

when you click build, at the last stage you choose the folder (probably desktop) and the name of the file to build to

simply, there change the name (add an "X" on the end).

that clears something, and then, you'll see it now builds with the icon. hope it helps
