    Just wondering, how do you get your animations to line up perfectly with other models, eg stealth attacks, climbing ladders, that has always amazed me in games!

    Thanks everyone for the comments :)

    @Alec
    We make all animations with 2 skeletons in the same blender file (you can probably do this with any other 3D software) and in Unity when we activate the sequence, then we just line up everything (Position and Rotation). i'ts quite simple actually

    There won't be an update this week... we are creating the singleplayer!
    We already have the story planned, so now we are creating the environment while adding new gameplay features to demonstrate in future updates

    Thanks for the support :D

    Drunken Lizard Games would like to present our apologies to all viewers and subscribers for not posting any video updates in the recent days, but due to university work, we haven't been able to do so. There will be an update released soon, so don't worry, because the project is still going and growing. Keep supporting!
    We also have many new features to show you in the next updates.

    We have also been busy writing the campaign script for our single-player. It's over 55 pages at the moment, roughly translating to 1h30-2 hours of gameplay.

    We also published a photo of our single-player script on Facebook. Check it out!

    LOL I just commented that it would be too difficult for them to do destruction!

    Anyways this is looking absolutely amazing. I am filled with awe in all you have accomplished. When you have beta testers, you should recruit here on the forum first ;)

    Dynamic movement could really use some calibration/tweaking. Sure, your gun moves when you turn, but DEFINITELY not that much.

    What is going on with the lightmaps (it goes dark then light as you move)?

    Rest of the work is even better than before, you are improving existing features obviously.

    Do you have a plan for when you are going to start making the actual game (you know with story,AI, multiplayer, whatever you want)?

    Thanks for the feedback,
    @koyima
    To awnser the first question: we are using Fake Shadows, since we are using unity indie, we can't have dynamic shadows...

    the Second question: We already have the story planned and we are also creating the singleplayer. We will be adding more features like AI, and other things.

    @Quality3DHD
    Sorry but we will not be making tutorials any time soon, maybe when the game is finished

    ---------------------------------------------
    Here's a small update:

    We are taking LOD to a more advanced level, using in both static and dynamic objects. You can see the performance improvements that can be archieved by using LOD.

    Awesome as always!!

    I love the graphical style and the skin shader looks amazing. I think it's damn near perfect if you ask me. However, the guns appear to have less detail than everything else. I like the look, but is this intentional?

    Thanks for the feedback :)

    @TehWut
    Thanks, well the textures on those weapons were made a long time ago ( except the m9 texture ) , when we weren't very good at texturing xD. We will probably update them in the near future.
    We will be working in the multiplayer and bring back some old features we had in previous updates.

    @Intermission
    Sorry but we are not looking for anyone to join our team right now,
    A nossa equipa também é portuguesa :) obrigado pelo suporte e partilha o nosso jogo com os teus amigos se puderes :D

    Here are some High-Resolution screenshots of our latest update:

    Thanks for the incredible support!

    Hello,

    Here's a little sneak peak at the new M4A1.
    As you can see, i'm using a different technique for texturing the weapon.
    This image was taken inside Blender and not Unity.

    What do you think?

    It's polygons, not poligons :p.

    Anyways, looks great! Maybe it should be just a little bit darker though?

    @Fishman92 - I only saw the mistake after i posted the screenshot, but thanks.

    Here is the M4A1 inside Unity
    I changed the overall brightness of the weapon, added normal maps and a metalic effect.

    first poligons now secular maps haha. Great looking gun there. I do have one crit-- the wear on the charging handle should be grey and the middle black not vice versa. This is because the M4 is painted black to start with and when paint wears off it becomes grey/metalic. Should be pretty easy to change though.

    Really like the way the character sways around when looking from one side to the other, but as someone who's spent a lot of time with Berettas and Beretta 92 replicas I suggest you acquire one, or acquire a replica to remodel that pistol. The hammer's joint should be within the frame, and your model has the backside of the frame completely covered up. The AR-15 looks pretty cool :).
