"No completions found" Need help with Monodevelop please.

Hello, I am struggling to follow any, if not all tutorials on Youtube that involves CSharp
(I have no idea how to make the symbol on a Mac)

I have no idea why, I use this at Uni and it works fine. But it doesn't recognize anything I type ay home for some reason. Do I need to download something, or is there something I am missing?

Any help would be appreciated. Again sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, there are so many options it is rather intimidating.
