New Game Release

Hey everyone,

I first of all want to thank the community which was of great help both directly and indirectly. I developed my first ever game, and after a lot of perseverance I managed to complete it and have it accepted into the App Store. I used a lot of free unity assets, and I chose not to use playmaker (even though I purchased it) so I could learn to script in C#. I am still learning a lot everyday, but as an 18 year old this a huge achievement for me. I don't know if I'm allowed to "advertise" here, as this will most probably be considered as such.

Congrats on your release! There's nothing wrong with advertising your made-with-Unity games. You should probably do it in the Showcase section though instead of Unity Gossip. You also will get more relevant views since people looking at that forum are looking for completed games. Just some tips...

1. Post in Showcase http://forum.unity3d.com/forums/showcase.11/
2. Include screenshots and/or video
3. Also, include your iTunes link and information about your game.. what's it about, what are the objectives, what inspired you to make it.

More quick advertising strategies below............

Make a Youtube video of you, playing the game.

Then post the Vid in the Unity Forums.

And post links of your mini video playthrough, on those Facebook gaming pages etc.

Or make your own FB game page, to advertise your game.
And put links to that FB page too.

And make a twitter account about your game too.
