My project no longer opens?

Hello.

I've installed windows 10, and downloaded Unity 5.2
When I tried to launch my project, Unity asked me to update it (it was created with 5.0.0.2).

Ever since then, unity won't launch my project!

Whenever I try to open it, unity disappears completely and just sits in the task manager forever, doing nothing. I've waited hours but it just sits there using about 1% cpu resources.

What is going on? How can I get access to my project again?

Edit:
After a full day of attempting, it finally gave the error "Another unity instance is already using this project", and then displayed the 'Hold on' message. It is now finally doing things and I hopefully should have my project running soon.

Seems like there's still a few windows10 bugs to work out in Unity.

 

Did you ever get this fixed? Same thing is happening to me.

 

Not just windows 10 - Same issue Win7 64bit.
"Hold on" showed various parts of the project reloading, now wont come back up from task bar.

 

I have this problem too. We should get support from unity developer
