Hi @justb. I've been watching this thread and your work for a while. I finally made my mind and bought two of your UMA amazing sets :)

Now, I'm very interested on the MB1 FB1 Wanderer Set but you didn't ported them to UMA yet. My question is if you are willing to do it?

    Thanks in advance.

@TRoNDaNeflin Yep. I'll be doing the wanderers up soon. Probably after a few more PBR updates.

@Damien Delmarle Yep. I'll eventually be doing some of those. Futuristic armors etc. I'll be updating the current one to PBR Unity 5.0

@Teila I think I will. It's a fairly easy process. I'll be doing some basic ones for now and perhaps something more complex later on.

The process is to take the Albedo texture, add an alpha channel (white for the parts you want to change color, black for the parts you don't), save, make a new overlay, add the new albedo to the overlay, then add to your recipe.

    Hi,

    i like your job +++

I will buy one kit for trying with my custom tool. I'm not using UMA.

Have you planned face kit for MB1-FB1 ?

    Best.

Ahh, so that is how you do it! :) Fantastic! You are making a great asset even better. We have a dye skill in our game so it might help us to provide different color versions for them to choose from when crafting.

    Thank you!

Just got done with a crazy debug session with justb. Long story short, if you're using his packs with UMA 2 PBR then for the time being don't use the female eyelashes along with them. (Yes, I know that sounds insane, imagine how we felt).

Mage refit has the new import fix. You don't need to re-import UMA for it.

I have a wish that there would be some UMA refits / packs with cloaks :) like the FB1 Rogue but without hood part so it would be more generic.

@treshold There probably will be eventually. You can also take the hood from any MB1/FB1 refit asset and combine it with any other MB1/FB1 refits. The Rogues should be refit soon. (Next few weeks.)

@tequyla Yep. You can combine different parts of the MB1/FB1 outfits and armors together. I made a quick "basic" tutorial that can be found with the hair pack. (attached)

Hi I am getting weird results with your body retexture pack, when trying to use them with Unity 5 standard material. It looks like problem with normal maps. (see the picture) when I replace normal maps with dionysus pack texture it looks ok.
I can not switch to legacy shader, since I use PBR with other texture packs. Do you have any sugestions?

@Augis1980 Try setting the normal map as a texture and not as a normal map in the UMA material and the texture settings. PBR versions of those should be submitted in a couple of weeks.

@Augis1980 @treshold If you want to get them to work, they should have the same amount of textures on the overlay as the UMA material. ie. If you have AO or metallic in the UMA material, you will have to add those to the Base Overlay texture as well. For now you can use a simple black texture with a black alpha for metallic. For AO a simple White texture is fine.

The PBR updates will have new textures.

If the texture has been processed for the UMA Legacy shader it won't work as a regular normal map. The Legacy shader uses different channels.

Sorry, I tried metalic and specular settings, with and without slots. Same thing with your FacePack vol 1.
I have few months till final product comes out, so I will just keep working with these and hoping to be able to replace them on time.

By the way the problem is Linear settings, in Gamma I was able to merge to different maps. (but no PBR of course)

@ecurtz . The normal map works fine. You just have to leave it as texture in the map settings. The images I posted use the default body normal map and a standard shader.

@Augis1980 I've never used those settings (linear.Gamma). It works fine here with the images I posted. Try a new material not the Default UMA and a new scene or project.

The default UMA PBR materials don't use AO as well. All updated assets I submit will be using different materials from the default UMA PBR unless they are updated.

UMA created Normal map (no gloss)

justb For PBR you must set the colour space to linear. "If you don’t then it throws the smoothness/specular values way off (overly shiny). You can deal with that in sRGB space by doing a sRGB to linear conversion, or simply a corrective gamma curve in Photoshop, but it begins to break down the ‘simple to use’ ethos behind physical rendering."

Nice. Thanks for the reply Augis1980.

Yes. The textures were made for UMA Legacy. On default settings they do work, but if you'll be changing from those it's probably best to wait until the PBR versions are submitted. (Should be submitted soon.)

Amazing! I love it, Justb! I had a another hard drive crash, no data lost fortunately, and came back to find all these gorgeous pictures. Love the Bard redo and all the color options! The ranger's hood looks like real wool, I can almost touch it.

The add-ons above are separate overlays?

(I imagine they are, but just checking.)

Absolutely love the add-ons! The hair made me laugh out loud! Love the hairy guy. :) Freckles look great, maybe an overlay with a few less freckles would be nice or some that limit the freckles to arms or face. How cool they would look with a red haired UMA guy! Can the body hair change color or is it always dark?

    @hopeful Yep. Separate overlays.

@Teila. There is a separate less freckly one. Hair is default grey, so can change color. You'll still want to keep it a bit dark for the shaders.
