    Iron Guard - is being developed by us in the best traditions of the game Tower Defence. At the moment our target platform - Android. Next IOS and Windows Phone.

    Everything look great , very polish.

    How did you handle the light ? Did you try light mapping?

    I asked before the shadow seem a bit rough , but It must look better on a small screen( with shadow a bit rough).

    Here's your intro written with a little better English (still not perfect as I've tried to make as little plot variation as possible).

    Iron Guard is a fully 3D "Tower Defence" game for mobile devices. An Android version will be released first, followed by an iOS version, and then a Window mobile version (we may also release a Desktop version for Windows). Release of the demo is scheduled for mid-July 2013. Full game in the fall of 2013.

    The plot of the game: During superspace flight a spaceship from Earth suddenly faced an unknown object (the probability of a collision in superspace unrealistically low). The captain had to urgently leave the subspace to save the crew. As a result, the ship is in an unexplored part of the universe. Because of the serious damage to the ship, there was only one way out - to land on a nearby planet. The ship, down to its last resources, made an emergency landing on the planet. Fortunately the planet was Earth-like and habitable. The crew discovered that they are not alone on the planet - it is inhabited robots that did not welcome their appearance. Because they have no way to ask for help they can only rely on themselves. Fortunately the planet is rich in the resources required for the construction of fortifications and the team decides to settle on the planet at any cost. And so begins a struggle for survival ...​

    We recorded the main voice acting game. To demonstrate it included in the movie with a cut-scene. Ordered in VoiceBunny. Chosen by the voice of the list of actors, when I heard it - just fell in love. And it is very similar to the voice of Jennifer Hale, voiced by Shepard in Mass Effect. Processed voice in FL Studio, for giving A.I. style)

    The video is also the first part of the initial cut-scene. Already optimized to work well enough even on slower devices. Soon i will order the voice acting for the cut-scenes



    Well, I would single art of our dear artist Denis Zhbankov. We made a cut-scene based on it.

    Our equally valuable programmer, Nikolai Savelyev, now working on a "cash" in the game and experimenting on ways to build turrets. Well, remind - we plan to do all the new turrets. Wait for updates)

    Maybe if you had some different dialog every time you clicked on a building rather than "building" every single time, because i think it will eventually get annoying.

    No. The game will be balanced in such a way that you can not build too many turrets.

    What do you use for the menu? Any toolkit or just a set of sprites with raycasting? I mean both main menu and buttons in the game (including the life line).

    Separate orthographic camera, planes with textures. And his script is able to adjust the entire interface under any screen.

    Your icon looks a bit terrible on the round corners. It often happens when you use a round rectangle in the Photoshop. I believe you are good at this software (or your artist), try to fix it.

    homerender, may I ask your for advice? I want to make games for iOS, but don't have any iOS device, but I have my own Android smartphone.
    Can you tell me how to test my game on it? Unity can make an apk file (or so), how can I install it on my phone without a root (you know what I mean :) ).

    I have all android devices without problems installed apk file. Only need to have the settings to allow the installation of non-trusted sources. With IOS harder. To test the game on ipad mini I had to buy a developer license.

    It does not need a cable. I just do apk file in Unity, then send it to your device via Skype)) Well, you can, or on a flash card. Then the device find it using a file manager and install.
