Just wanted to let everyone know that my IndieFX post processing package for Unity Free and Pro has been updated with an improved Bloom effect. The Bloom effect now includes the ability to modify the effect's radius for larger bloom areas and the ability to modify the number of passes to help balance quality and performance.

You can grab IndieFX for free from my site here.

Huh, so you ended up posting this anyway! Nice work!

And I wouldn't mind working on parts of this to help increase performance! :) I got a nice boost by using POT and normalized viewport rect... :D

This looks epic! I wonder if there is possibility of making sunshafts for Unity Indie? :)

@Sykoo: Actually, the guys supporting my fx pack have done so already! So, I might as well grab it and bring it here! ;)

@Tryder: if you wish, I can send in the sun shafts shader, (Written by FrostBite23, so he's the guy to give credit to!) and have it incorporated here as well.

The bloom effect looks awesome but it does affect the FPS significantly

@dualcarbon: I do know why, (I actually have an earlier version of this) It's because ReadPixels is called everytime it does a blur pass.
