[In Progress] Air Marshal: My new aircraft fighting game

    Hi all,

    It's my second project with Unity. First one was a 2D game.
    Now i making a 3D aircraft game.

    It will be campaign game where the player is a pilote and have to follow a different missions (bombard / destroy the enemies, escort, infiltration, doghfight) to conquer the territory.

    Until now i'm working on airplane behavior and missile homing.
    I also added a radar system. When player press to fire, the selected weapon ask the radar for the locked target and then is launched.

    Looks like you are off to a great start for your first 3D game. Also it's "AI' not "IA" and it stands for artificial intelligence. Just the grammar nazi in me coming out. xD

    Great progress so far! Honestly, it looks like you have the core in place already.

    Does the player steer the aircraft, control speed, and stuff like that? Or is it more of a rails shooter where you just select targets and fire?

    It's a mix between french and english :) i'll pay more attention to this next especially in the game narration.


    For now the speed is automatic. I'm planning to make it controlled by the player.
    Next step:
    - AI of ground unit (90% done)
    - Health status bar for the player and the locked target.
    - on game menu (pause, status,....)
    - first level
    ==> release the demo
    - Custom weapon load.
    - all the campaign levels.

    This is excellent just would like to add that keep UI in constant colors with some translucency it ll look great.

    Hello there,

    A new version of the game with the chromecast support.
    The video is not perfect, the game UI also.
    But It show the potentiel of such mixte between smartphone and chromecast.
    So excited about that
