Ideas for making "Stat Polygon"

I am making an RPG and currently I just have a screen listing each characters stats. I want to do away with that and replace it with something more visually appealing. I want to create a "Stat Polygon"(not sure what it is actually called). I am not really sure where to start and can't find anything on the topic so I could use some help pointing me in the right direction.

I have attached an example of what I am talking about and as always help is much appreciated.
