Well i installed unity today . I thought of starting by typing some player movement scripts. But when i clicked on a new script, it opened up with visual studio 2013 express instead of mono develop. I was a bit surprised as i had visual studio installed but i never changed any setting to open scripts with visual studio .I just want to know how can i switch back to mono develop.

Go To Preferences > External Tools and set External Script Editor to MonoDevelop. Next go to Assets > Sync MonoDevelop Project to build your solution file the first time.
