Game Concept:
Hoverball is a high-octane, action-packed multiplayer vehicular sports game. Set in an expansive sci-fi universe, Hoverball players take on the role of elite Hovership pilots, divided into teams, competing against each other in an adrenaline-fueled, high-speed match. It’s an all-out contest to see which team can score the most goals to emerge victorious. Capitalise on the Hovership’s unique control system to perform last-second tackles, pull off incredible shots and experiment with alternative skills to outplay the other team. Drift around the stadium, evading the opposition and then launch your ship upwards to perform mid-air goals and last-second saves!
Your Hovership comes in two different varieties and can be customised to feature different stats and even abilities. At the beginning of each match the players find themselves in equal set starting positions on their side of the stadium whilst the ball shoots up and out of a trap-door on the ground; from this point its up to the player to use their crafts to ram the ball, block enemy shots, gather canisters (from around the stadium) to make use of their special abilities and to score goals before the timer runs out (~3 minutes).


Hovership Customisation:
Hoverball will feature a range of ship customisation options. These can be found by visiting the garage seen below. Additionally players can view their current progress in unlocking new parts for their ships here, as well as view how those parts affect the ships stats. The garage allows players to store and save up to three different ‘builds’ for quick selection before matches.

Durain 4 (The Mining Stadium):
Located on an old industrial planet on the far reaches of the galaxy, Durian 4 is one of the most well-known Hoverball stadiums. Constructed from the remnants of an old, dusty mining facility, this large stadium boasts large sloped sides and a high content of energy canisters which makes this a perfect high-speed stadium with the possibility to perform wall drifts around their opposition. The pinched in sweeping sides by the goal reward teamwork by allowing pilots to shoot the ball around the stadium sides and use these curves to cross the ball in front of the goal for a follow up team member.
