    HEROIC FANTASY CREATURES FULL PACK VOL.2 with Hellrot update is now live. To those who purchased from the Asset Store, make sure to upgrade by downloading the latest update: V1.15.

    Price of the pack has been raised to $189.90 (PROTOFACTOR STORE) and to $225 (UNITY ASSET STORE) with the Hellrot Add-On.

    Looks good .... I like the bird's head shoulder pad Armour. I might suggest a longer beak to give a more predatory look but I'm happy if thus is the final design.

    This one will be great, wonder If it's possible to make color variation for the skin or feather like you did for the common wolf?

    I might change the concept slightly to make it look more aggressive. Regarding some color variations. I'll see what's possible to do. Maybe add the .PSD with the hue layers for body and feathers.
    @Damien Delmarle : hope you manage to solve the issue you had.

    i still have the same problem even after re importing, when i convert the animation of some humanoid monster in your package to mecanim using humanoid rig setup, some members are broken like legs or hand for most of them,.

    I thought Mechanim used the legacy animations as base, did not know there is an option to make them Mechanim specific.

    My guess is that some models dont conform to the humanoid skeleton and thus cant be converted. I guess in this case could still be used in Mechanim as Legacy base animations ? But i am not sure.

    This is SO cool, perfect NPC for my RPG.

    Please add a talk and some cool idle animations :) :)

    @Damien Delmarle : if this only happens to,the monsters then indeed it's normal since none of them are humanoid... please use generic mode instead. Monsters have whether a horse link bone in the leg or an additional bone in the arm... or a rig totally different from humanoid.
    @nasos_333 : it's not a NPC pack... but I'll see what's possible.

    Some attack animations that emphasize it's bird foam would be cool. Something like a peck with beak or jumping claw attack with the talons on its feet.

    Little update: Volcrate is now almost modeled (high poly version). Here is what it currently looks like in Zbrush. Also the feathers on the head and neck will be a separate model so people can decide whether or not to use it.

    Still a lot of details to add, but it gives a good overview of what the model will look like.

    Fantastic ... could be used as some sort of beastman as you intended but also could pass as some sort of vulture demon. Excellent stuff.

    Indeed you're kinda right. The feathers version would be more like a beast. And without feathers the demon ish version.

    Is it me or is that belt buckle just a little too phallic?

    To me, it looks like something out of a BDSM wardrobe.

    Hey, I'm not criticizing your work. It's exemplary. I like the feathers a lot, btw.

    Concept for the undertaker was done ages ago in the first post.

    Thanks nasos_333: there is no such version, sorry.

    Thanks Raj: quality has improved since the giant scorpion to my opinion. (Since I've been using this new pipeline).

    No problem, i will just emit some feather particles with a mask with my partilce system and have them play with the wind as well :)

    Hey guys! Update: Undertaker is now modeled, textured, rigged and skinned. One animation is done just to tease you guys in a WIP WEB PLAYER.

    Hope you guys will like it. tried to make it a little scarier than the other creatures.

    Awesome ... really fantastic. Love the antlers and skin tone.

    If possible, I think the lower torso / hip area looks a little empty. Perhaps some primitive belt with a loin cloth or things hanging from it?

    Yep, absolutely. It's still a wip... and there was a loincloth on the concept created. This will be added. No worries.

    Forgot to mention that price of the pack will be raised to $250 with this new release. Model should be released Thursday if everything is going fine.

    These are really Epic!!
    Could definitely be used in many different types of Game genres.

    Not quite...

    The asset store has the individual models in the same list as the packs. And some models appear in more than one pack.

    I just find it hard to navigate. This wouldn't be a problem if you did not have so many awesome models to look through. :)

    I'm trying to inspect the models individually and figure out which packs they are in so I can buy the packs and individual models I want with minimum overlap.

    What I originally meant is something more like this: link. I put this together in a few minutes. It's just three models but it shows what I meant by matrix.

    You can see in my matrix that one of the models is in only one pack and two of the models are in multiple packs.

    I've seen other artists do something like this and it's helped me out when puttting together my shopping list.

    for those who also had problem with the scifi pack character and mecanim setup, even "humanoid" characters should be setup with generic rig and root node to "none". with this setup i work perfectly for human characters

    I would need to dive into that... the humanoid characters should be 100% compatible with the humanoid mecanim rig since the rig is the standard 3ds max biped... anyways, thanks for sharing your experience. :)

    Do these work with legacy animations? I don't use mecanim in my game.

    All the animations works perfectly in legacy mode.

    No black Friday or cyber Monday discount. Sorry.... maybe Santa Clause will bring some bargain deal in your stockings... just need to be patient...
