Eyes - yet another indie horror game but fortunately without the slenderman

It's my first unity3d project and as it was said in the thread's title - it's a horror game.
Player's goal is to collect sacks with money and escape from the house while avoiding a demonic girl. Collectible eyes enable player to share her vision for a few seconds.

Feedback will be highly appreciated.

Good work! This is great! Is it by yourself?

 

Some graphical/sound assets are released under creative commons licence, some I've created on my own (e.g. girl's voice).
I'm using, among others, NGUI, Gorovs Occlusion Culling System, iTween library and A* Pathfinding Project. And the rest is mine.

Looks cool! Ill check it out. Interesting concept about the collectable eyes and vision sharing.

I can't find the light switch

 

There is one in the bathroom on the 1st floor.

 

No Slender? Why? How come? He's not gonna be too happy!

lol. That's some nice flashlight lighting.

 

Cool! Everything looks good so far. First time got about 4 bags but I didn't know that I was suppose to be collecting them until I tried opening a door and told me that I needed 20.

2nd time got about 14 or 15 I forget. But anyways it has some creepiness to it. Not going to lie here but I did jump when I saw the white figure. It came through a door hehe.

I'm not sure if it suppose to be like a ghost or something but it did kill me through a door.

Overall nice job so far!

 

I was focused on a question mark, when all of a sudden a white figure is there. I jumped out of my chair. Good job on the game and Good Luck

 

Ok question, got into the game... Alright good so far, kind a creeped out, nice map system. Sick. Good so far. Roll over grab a bag of money. Sick, turn around this weird white thing comes up to me, and I die? I wasn't creeped out at all, it was more of like wow that's dumb... Idk if anyone got this effect on them? I'm not sure what the purpose of the white girl is?

 

I've just uploaded a new version in which game objectives are shown while loading.

She is supposed to be some kind of ghost and she will kill you if you are too close to her. Volume of her voice is proportional to the distance between her and a player so if you can hear her loudly, you should hide somewhere.

A question mark? Where? On the basement's map?

Could you please give me some more details? I would like to find out what you don't like about her.

And a question to all of you, are the eyes on the walls visible enough? Should I change theirs shader or make them blink sometimes?

 

That was unsettling. I really didn't see that coming. That white figure... you're buying me some new pants.

 

Idk it was just anti-climactic. I actually didn't hear anything. I just turned around, she did some weird moving motion and then i just died? You should either make her more menacing or add a loud sound or something...

Ok i dont know lol, maybe its a glitch or something, but all these other people are like pooping their pants...

Very Nice May be add battery to flash light so you can over use it
And may be add other ways to hide like wardrobes

Here better idea add lights on to all room and as she moves room to room the lights turn of and when she not there room light come back on so if look down big hall way you can lights turning of and turn flash light and you can see her eyes inbox if whant any more idea

 

That game is awesome!! Better than Slender.

But one question: How did you do that Difficulty-thing? Does it load a new scene? Or changes something in the scene? I want to know it, because I am making a horror game, too, and i want to toggle Day/Night mode or the difficulty.

Bwahahahaha awesome job! You had me hiding in a corner behind something when she came in the room. I'm like "don't see my flashlight don't see my flashlight." Which she probably couldn't. But it still had me going.

is there a way i can download the old version? i never played it you need to make a chapter 2 at the en. its coming for me i can feel it logged out. and you hear the moaning i think that they should find another mansion or she's in his house and you have to find an exit! best game ever

 

Wow. So scary. I hate that ghost/girl I want to create a revenge game ( game where I could kill her )! I tried to make a model of the house but unfortunately it is quite hard. Anyway, nice work.

This is a very good game. I really like the flashlight cookie. Where did you get it from? I've seen it before but can't find it. I quit after 2 minutes because it was terrifying. Also, I think the player's look is too sensitive (IDK if you can change it in the options menu - I didn't use it) But other than that, It's a great horror game. Good luck!

Little did she know, Paulina created a legendary horror game, Played by equally legendary people such as PewdiePie, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye.

 

...and recently turned it into S*** with microtransactions.

Really not a fan of locking a level behind IAP.

 

It can be unlocked without IAP too.
