Hello, I am developing a game that uses the, "Resources" folder (when "Resources.Load()" and "Resources.LoadAll()" is being used). For a published game, I noticed that whatever is stored in the "Resources" folder also gets published INTO the executable file. Is there any way that when a game gets published, I can also put ADDITIONAL resources in a resource folder (where the game reads those additional resources from that folder before running)? Thank you, Michael S. Lowe
The most general purpose way to achieve what you want is through Asset Bundles. There's a nice overview of the topic in the docs (link).
