    Perhaps just through some light overlay on it in gimp, here was my result. :]

    That logo looks really nice. @TVE That light overlay you did looks a lot better but that's my personal opinion :)

    Two days ago, i posted this image of a weapon on facebook:



    Today i made a video breakdown of the image, showing all the steps i did to achieve the effect:



    Hope you like it :)


    What was used:

    - Physical Based Shaders ( LUX )
    - HDR and Photographic Tonemapping
    - Color Grading ( Amplify Color )
    - Screen Space Ambient Obscurance
    - Bloom
    - Lens Dirtiness
    - Anti-Aliasing

    Yes, i'm the only one working on this game.

    Here's one more image of the island, this time taken inside the editor.
    Alot of changes are coming for how the game's functionality will work, like unlocks, ranks, servers, items, loadouts, etc. I'll reveal how everything will work soon. It will be very different from the usual multiplayer game.

    Finally working on something other than code :) and actually visible.
    The networking framework isn't done yet, but i need to remake the menu interface too.
    Still haven't decided if the background will have a 3D scene or not since i'm going for a simplistic look.
    I'll keep everyone updated with more updates.

    While the game is VERY good, and some of the systems look nice, i feel like its a bit close to other FPS shooters. I think the parkour system could be improved to make the game have more originality.

    A lot like other FPS shooters. I do not believe any FPS have any parkour at all. BF3 and 4 has some but nothing like this. Watch more of No Heroes vids. Watch the Free Running Challenge video.

    Titanfall
    Ascend (Unity game currently in development that is similar to Titanfall)
    Crysis
    A couple of Unreal or Source mods....
    GunZ (3rd person)

    And note that because Titanfall will sell, expect many bad clones with wallrunning/parkour elements in a near future.

    Got it. Sorry for upsetting anyone.:(Only played Crysis. I guess there was some in there. I would say not many of these were made with 1 or 2 people. Anyway I think this game is incredible and is going to be awesome to play.

    By the way I like the logo update.

    How Ranking and Game Points in No Heroes will work:
    Ranking in No Heroes will be different from the usual FPS game.

    - The Rank of a player will be divided throughout game modes,
    - There will also be an overall rank that will average all game modes,
    - After each match, a player will either gain or lose rank points for the game mode played, taking into account if the player played well and won/lost. In team based modes, teamwork points will be more valuable than traditional points. (except for Team Deathmatch)

    - Game Points will be earned after each match, depending on if the player won/lost and on the points earned throughout the match.

    - All of this isn't final yet and there might be some changes -

    More info will be revealed in the future regarding Ranking.
    I'll be revealing how Loadouts and Unlocking will work soon.

    Probably yes, but the rank system will be variable because players can win and also lose rank points and actually derank.

    Looks good visually, although I think a max rank would be a good idea, so that new players can finally play together without that one experienced guy stomping them.

    I hate max ranking. I agree though about uneven players stinking. Maybe the higher level players can only play players around the same level.

    I like the idea of losing rank. Really gives incentive to play serious.

    It's time for one more menu reveal! :) this time, the loadout menu.
    It's still WIP and not all items are done yet and some are only temporary. The soldier pose is obviously also temporary.

    Looks amazing. I like the simple look and I can't stand with some games the interface is just to busy. This looks clean and simple.

    There is a strong possibility, but Unity 5 will probably only be released in the summer... So the alpha won't have its features.

    Here's one more image to pass the time
    (this image is pretty old, so the quality is much better now)

    I'm still working on the code and making the menu.
    The reason it's taking more time than i anticipated is because in order to make some things, i also had to remake other things. This phenomenon kept going and now i'm pretty much remaking almost all of the game's code. (except gameplay).
    The good thing is everything is going very well, and now the code is much more organized, readable, simpler to change/add/extend things.

    Thanks for pointing that out, but i already knew that.
    I was already going to remake every weapon in the game and give them different names.

    On a related subject:
    Before BF4 was released, there was a big talk about copyright issues with weapons and EA said that they didn't care and didn't want to pay them and went ahead and used them anyway without permission, but then again, they are a multi-million $ company.
    I don't know if anything about that changed, but it's what i remember.

    Hello Everyone!

    It's awesome when you spend so much time developing something and start seeing the results you expect it to show.

    Right now, here's what is currently working almost perfectly:
    - Authentication (Login and Registration),
    - Load of every information stored in the database correctly,
    - Visualization and Selection of different Loadouts,
    - Modification of weapons, gear, name, avatar of loadouts,
    - Server Browser,
    - and more.

    What's to come:
    - Ability to unlock items through the store,
    - Customization of weapons,
    - Options Menu,
    - Visualization of all player and weapons statistics,
    - ? Tournaments ?
    - And more.

    I'm also finally going to make a new video update showing the new Menu and all the new things i've been making soon.
    I'm also very excited to start working on some of the major game modes, Battle Royale, Invasion, Conquer. But only after i get everything else working properly.
