For a coming minor update. I made another enhancement to the dirt affect for a more apocalyptic style when at full range. Below is a couple of samples with some graffiti (black/white decal masks) for effect, but you can drag n drop your own decal masks and colour pick to suit.

I also tested my Substances with UBER. All outputs work automatically with UBER.

The shots below were done with Unity 5.1.1 and Alloy 3.2.3

Late to the party Substance user here, would it be possible to customize the decals and panel designs using just this asset? Or are those "baked" ?

    Hi Axiomatic,

The decals are totally up to you. I include various sample decal masks (black/white .png's) but you can add your own to further customise. The substances have a colour picker to fill the white areas of your decal masks and the dirt/wear slider also affects your masks.

The designs are baked in for these packs since I model each panel in 3D, then generate ColorID, Height and AO maps to drive my substance graphs. I did this to make it as easy as possible for non 3D Modeller/Artists. I am currently making a Volume 3 pack, but am open to specific design requests people may have. I have considered making the Master Substance available as a separate/single product, however it would only be suitable for people who could produce their own Height, AO and ColorID maps indicated above.

    Thanks,
    Neil.

EDIT: Below shows the two decal masks used for the follow panel effect. The Dirt/Wear sliders in the Substance take care of the rest.

    Hi Arganth,

Thanks for the feedback. Each Volume in the SciFi series will work in the same game level with other volumes. Volume 3 will expand on the first two volumes in the SciFi series. I then intend to start releasing actual 3D Models with customisable Substance materials to work with these three SciFi Volumes, to fill out levels, ie reactors, stairs, ramps, pipes, displays etc... open to requests here also.

    Hi Arganth,

I am thinking end of January as an "early release version" for what I have completed at the time, then continue to add further pieces from my Vol3 list after release.

This textures are very well done and beautifully textures and even better that they are based on Substance so they can be much customizable and configurable

Will the part 3 meshes be included in the same pack?

Sorry, regretably I have just discovered the discount offer and I would have been interested in it, but In the asset store is still shown the text about the 40% discount, but the price is back to 45, so you should remove the 40% discount or put again back the discount, as it may be confusing to keep as it is now.

    Thanks for your help

    Hi SpaceRay,

Sorry for the confusion with sale price. It was an oversight on my part forgetting to update the product description when reverting back to the normal price. I have just submitted a request to extend the $25 sale for a bit longer. It may take a few days to update to $25, so keep checking.

Vol3 is a Modular Level Kit (includes meshes shown above) with Customisable Substances.

    Thanks
    Neil.

EDIT: Forgot to thank you for the nice feedback :).

Yes, it is almost ready. It won't be called Vol3 now since it is also a Modular Level Kit http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/coming-soon-custom-pbr-modular-level-kit-scifi-industrial.403607/

Here are some WIP screens. I am just assembling some larger module pieces at the moment for those wanting faster construction. The Substances for Unity/UBER x60 and Alloy x60 are all complete. I need to make up some decal masks this week.

This Kit will work with Vol1 and Vol2 Substances (drag n drop).

Hello, I bought your substance packs a long time ago.
I noticed the ones with windows have a second glass function, how do I add the glass layer? (I am using unreal btw)

    Hi jammer,

If you duplicate your geometry and place it just inside/behind your original to avoid Z fighting, add the non glass substance to the front/outer geometry with a cutout shader and the glass substance to the inner/behind geometry using a transparency shader, this will allow shadows to be viewed through the glass.

    Hope that helps.
