So I want to create some rear view mirrors, I have seen some scripts that can reverse the image to give the effect of a mirror, but ive also seen some threads saying that Unity Pro has good built in features for mirror effects.

In two weeks I will have unity pro, so my question is should I try to create the mirrors in Unity trail with script, or does unity pro offer some built in features that I should just wait and use?

I dont know about this feature, so u may find my answer not appropriate. But why u want to wait 2 weeks, when u can get unity pro trial for 30 days at anytime? So, u can see if it works or no, and u will not wait 2 weeks to find it out.

Your best option for rear view mirrors is going to be render textures, assuming you want the mirrors integrated into the scene, at least.
