if you have good skills with C# go Corgi Engine 100%.(my case, my vote)
if you are a beginner with C# or you are designer go Platformer PRO

(Disclaimer) Just voted for myself :)

In my view the main benefit of Platformer PRO is the flexibility. I've put a lot of work in to ensuring you are not limited in how you move, you can make it very digital or very realistic, or even temporarily hand over control to a completely different system. As I like to say: "Make your game, not a variation of mine"

I don't agree with @arkhament 's comment about it not being right choice for coders. Not only is everything written to be extensible (virtual methods, interfaces, etc), with a little reading on how the pluggable movement system works you can plug-in your own custom movements and have them appear in the menu system along with everything else.

Still I'm not in to disparaging competitors, I didn't buy Corgi, however it looks like a good package too.
