Can't see my purple fire in 2D view

    Sorry this is my first time trying to make a game
    My problem this time is I can't see my purple fire with my character after I add my background
    it's fine when I see in 3D view but it's not fine when i turn to 2D view

    Can anyone help me how to fix this problem? thank you and sorry my poor english

    Understand that in 2D view, the Z-axis is not used (much). So placing the fire in "front" of the background in the Z-axis has no effect in 2D, even though it would be the key factor in 3D.

    Instead, you need to use Sorting Layer and/or Sorting Order to determine which objects go in front.

    sorry sir i try them all but it doesn't work for me
    and the purple fire will change by different colors
    do you have any idea what wrong is it ? thank you sir

    I don't see what the problem is, the purple flame is right there in the picture. It is just barely visible because of the white background. Try it with a dark background.

    sorry sir I can't change my background because I draw those background for a long time I think i am just leave like that very much for your reply
