I've tried returning the license that I used for Unity Pro on the Linux installation and it just hangs. You can click the confirm button, and the status indicator at the top will look like it is completing, but nothing happens. Anyone have any luck returning a pro license with the Linux build?
I had the same problem today! When returnig the license it just hangs there. When you reopen unity the license is not returned. Ubuntu 15.04. Ok. The solution is this: TO RETURN AN ACTIVATED LICENSE VIA YOUR UNITY ACCOUNT Go to the Unity Store: https://store.unity3d.com/ Click "My Account", then sign in to the account which is linked to the license. Or, if you haven’t assigned your license yet, click Add License. Click "Activations" Click "Disable all activations" on the license added.
That only works if you aren't using a manual activation, and juggling licenses to try and work with multiple platforms.
Also cannot return license. The progress bar is stuck at the end and the confirm button is grayed out
Fwiw - It never worked for me, on 3 different versions of Unity. I had to give up and contact support. They kept giving me non-working instructions, but after repeating myself more than I like to, they finally were able to do something to reset the activation. Worth trying, just don't expect them to fix it in a day.
Yeah, I'm having this issue right now. It's on the "Returning License" page, has been for several minutes, the bar is a few pixels from the end, and nothing is happening.
How to return activations using the new subscriptions page? https://id.unity.com/subscriptions I formatted my PC and I need to reset my activations, but I couldn't find where is it now!
I'm unable to return the license in Unity hub 2.4.3 but I was able to via the subscription page on the website. I was installing on a brand new computer. I removed my old license online and applied it to the new machine via hub. It worked that day. I came back the next day and it was endlessly failing to open Unity without any error messages. The logs indicated license issue. When it tried to return the license in Unity hub it would just spin. Avoiding issue by returning the license via the subscription page on the website.
Thank you, it worked! I tried to return license first and it failed to return. Then I just added new personal license which override the old one and unity worked.
Yes, this solutions also work for me. So those below is what you need to do: - Try to return license in unity hub and add it back. - If you cant return, the license still there. Try to add new license (when you still see your current license there) - After add new, remove it and restart your pc/laptop. - Final, add new license and wait while unity editor opening DD. -> Still work any times for me and my co-worker.
