Can I change the background color of Unity built-in Editor??

    Do you mean the bg color of the scene view? scene view bg can be set in free(I think lol)

    You can set GUI.color to change the color of EditorGUI* functions, but you need Pro to change Unity's color scheme.

    No. If you have pro you can make the editor dark, or leave it light (like the free version). The color options don't affect the overall editor color.

    You can set the play mode tint, which during play will change the overall color, but that's it.

    Unity devs:
    Please consider implementing color scheme changes in free version. My migrene cant handle the default color scheme, and my wallet cant handle the pro license (yet) :)

    literally the first unity related thing i'm looking up- haven't laid a single block yet, well... gotta upgrade to pro...

    hello forum, my name's froganus [froGAHnus]. if the next problem i encounter also requires upgrade to pro, i'm back to the sleek dark grey world of gamemaker ;)

    WRONG! I have the free version. Just go to Edit--Preferences--General--editor theme-dark/light
