bug where dynamically instantiated ragdoll skin appearing dark/unlit on iphone

    I posted this in iOS but no one knew enough to respond. I was hoping you gents may have some thoughts.

    I'm having a bug where a dynamically instantiated prefab appears fine when run on my pc but when I build it for iphone it is coming out black. I'm using mobile shader bumped diffuse. I think this started happening after upgrading to Unity Pro. I was thinking of generating light maps for the prefab....but still that doesn't explain why it only happens on my iphone and not on my PC.Funny thing is it only happens to the skin of the character. The skinned meshes of the clothes appear normal color. Also tried checking and unchecking generate lightmaps even though currently none are set. Anyone have any ideas?

    not a bug just an asset causing it, now just gotta figure out how to fix.
