    Hi Everybody,

We here at Duct Tape Games, a three man independent game studio in Melbourne Australia, have been working hard on our latest game Broadside. We’re rapidly approaching our November release and are beginning to show the world our progress so far.

Broadside is a Pirate action game in which you sail and board ships, from tiny Cutters to huge Ships of the Line with over a hundred cannons.
The objective of the game is to become the most infamous pirate you can, before the navy hunts you down and you go out in a blaze of glory. You will sail (and sink) as many different ships as possible, boarding other ships with your pistol and sword and drinking rum to heal your wounds.

We will be doing a Twitch Livestream in a couple of hours for “International Talk like a Pirate Day”, where we will show off the current build and talk about development.
We plan to start at Septh 19th 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (~3AM Pacific Standard Time if our calculations are correct) and keep going till we run out of pirate themed rum!
We understand this time may not be ideal for people outside Australia, so we will be saving the stream for those that wish to watch it later. We can be found at various internet places here:

Thanks to anyone who tuned in! It went pretty well, though we did have a few technical issues that delayed the start.
The audio was also a bit wonky, but the three of us had a great time!

If you'd like to see what you missed, its currently stored on Twitch here: http://www.twitch.tv/ducttapegames/b/570062768
We'll likely do another one in a month or so, but in the meantime don't forget to check out our Greenlight and Devblog (links in the OP)
