I can't see any water with the unity free. Is there any trick that can be done to have it looking a bit better with unity free? Currently it looks a bit meh :( . Running on widnows7 with a gts 450 card.
I have already deleted the folder and imported the assets as indicated in order to have it running.

@panz3r: I was searching a bit, this could be one solution to for the water and this could be one solution for the shadows
But the best way i think is to go with Unity Pro, it's worth every penny.

    Hi Jacal,
    Things are good.

    That video/work is stunning.

    Great that it's already submitted.

Do you know if this pack is more demanding on the cpu/grafiks card than volume 1?

Will it work for us folks still using Unity 3.5.6 or earlier, say 3.5.4?

    What's the price?

    cheers.

    i'm running 3.5.6f4.
I don't think the asset store will allow me to buy it, if it's wrapped in 3.57.

    $90 til doomsday, eh. :)

What happens to the price after doomsday?
Free for us who go to heaven, or beyond?

    Hey there,

I've been looking into buying this pack, but for what I need it for, I'd need to know what plant species the bushes/shrubs are modelled after.
Maybe not the full plant variations themselves really, but if you have the info on the leaves used/what they're modelled after, that'd be great! Hard to find Unity assets with the botanical info included.

Hi, I created the foliage from real references, but I don't know all correct botanical names, my main focus was to make cool looking vegetation for games.
There are : 4 different species large-shrubs with autumn versions, oaks, dead oaks, beeches, autumn beeches, firs, spruces, pines, palms, fern-plants,
2 different reed-plants species, weed, red-poppy, thistles, daisies, tulips and many different grass and underbrush types

I have some Problems with this Package...
I made a Drag&Drop Operation with the Folder into Unity. But then i get this many errors when i want to play.
It's simple leve, with two hills. Only Basic stuff.
What i have to do now?

@metteigel: It seems you have an older version of the BEP with the outdated combine script and Image-Effects, if this is the case please download the newest version which is fully 3.5x and 4.0x ready.
It's better to import unity packages into projects instead of drag and drop folders, this could also bring some complications with it.

I ran a few tests and did a bit of research in the models and noticed that some of your meshes particularly the branches/ferns and other 3d details are doubled, meaning you have duplicates of meshes, is there a reason for this?

@ben4views: The meshes that are using the Tree Creator Leafs shader are intended to be doubled to make translucency, shadows and different lightning visible from each side.

Hi everyone. What are the minimum requirements for this pack? Currently I have 2GB of ram, 2.66Ghz dual core processor(Intel core 2 duo) and Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT professional(1GB vram) video card. Will this pack work for me in Unity 4? Do I have the minimum requirements or it will crash?

@Darksider:The graphic card and CPU are more than enough, the only problem could be the 2 gb ram.

If the Scene does not run perfectly you could also lowering the quality settings and detail distances.

@Darksider: I think that should be fine, the main scene needs 1 GB free ram.

@sk-studios: Normally the scenes should be work fine, I've tested it in all versions from 3.5 up. It could be a download error, please send me your AssetStore invoice number and I will send you an alternative download link ASAP.

Do you happen to have an overhead view of this pack or any of the other ones? I need a terrain to use for a planet scene in my game but need a lot of room for buildings. The overhead would help me to see if the packs are big enough.

    Thanks!

I purchased the Big Environment Pack in the Unity Store today and was looking for the high resolution textures when I came across your Readme.txt file. Unfortunately both the links mentioned in the readme did not work. I attempted to send an email to the email address specified in the readme, but that too did not work. Please to send a new working link. Thanks in advance.
