    Hello guys!

Today I come with a project that I am working on for the university.

-Asteroid proximity - Arcade side scroller space shooter-

    Description

It is a side-scroller space shooter arcade game (xD) where you should avoid and shoot up all the asteroids that will popup in the screen.

You will earn points if u destroy asteroids , random powerups will spawn, game will end if you hit one asteroid.

This is the basic idea, I want to add customization so you can build our own ship or spawn a random "track" that you should follow to win more points.

    Media

I am actually working on the basics:
    ·Ship controller.
    ·Asteroid controller / spawner.
    ·Some basic esthetics and effects.

    >Play!<
This is an early (seriously it is early) version of the game any tips are welcome :p

    Update 11/23/2014

    +Added movement on "Y" axis.
    +Simple shoot system.
    +Improved asteroids generation.

I will update the post as I work on it!
Special thanks to Hedgehog Team for the skybox and Omega Creative for the ship :D

I tried it and I think that it's very hard aiming. I mean, when I move the ship to the sides of the screen (and its side is visible), I don't know where the shots go. Maybe you should add a red dot or a laser sight.
